Alexander Jablokov

 

I'm a writer, mostly of science fiction, with a new novel, Brain Thief.

The name is pronounced Yablokov, and the legal name is Jablokow.  My best friends can't spell or pronounce it, so you shouldn't worry about it either.

Out again

My eye had another detachment last week, and some failure in that operation means I have to go in again today.  So you won't be hearing from me for a while, since I will again be banned from reading and writing.  I'll let you all know when I am back up.

I'm SO sorry!! I hope you recover quickly. I can't imagine living without reading and writing. When you're back on the blog, you'll have to tell us all how you coped. In the meantime, your legions of blog readers, me among them, will miss you.
